Areas of Practice
We advise clients in all stages of business development, from start-ups to emerging and established companies, both domestic and international. We have extensive experience in corporate transactions, negotiating and structuring many types of business contracts, managing intellectual property and licensing technology and trademarks.
Our insights into corporate governance, the business value chain, investment, finance and technologies enable us to help in structuring and restructuring legal relationships. Such insights can also help resolve disputes amicably, whether we act as outside counsel, special advisor, litigation settlement negotiator or mediator.

Business Exit Strategies: Plan, Be Ready
At every stage in a company’s life cycle, owners should be prepared for an exit opportunity or sudden crisis in governance. On the upside, owners might implement a multi-year plan with employee incentives to go global, grow and sell the business at private auction. On the downside, key shareholders might dispute performance, alignment or strategy, risking harm to the enterprise. In either case, we can advise on protecting value and enterprise growth and exit strategies, corporate divorce (sometimes along with marital divorce), founder succession, and transition planning for founders and boards.
